shed of their kleenex robes
ornaments smile
bow and curtsy
in their four-week spotlight
they dance little scenes
of seasons past
and memorize
this year's lines
for next year
and the next and the next

I love the poem, and you tree is gorgeous. I really wish I had your visual sense. Your profile description is wonderful, and so is the new pic. BTW, sometimes posts just take a little while before they show up. I've had people read my posts before I could see them.
Lisa,
It appears to me that most of your problems with pictures are due to a naming conventions conflict. In other words, do NOT use spaces in the name of a picture you wish to upload to Blogger. It has to do with the fact that Windoze and Mac OSX allow spaces, but Unix doesn't, in file names.
I like what you've done with the place.
One trick is to refresh the page and then the entry will show up....
Now, this poem is one that caused me to gasp. Wonderous.
Breathless.
I really like that poem, and I am really fussy about poems. Are you here for good?
Thanks for the tips, guys...
And, yes, Paul...Looks like. Not that I'm not still at "Coming to Terms..." and "Brainsurfing" as well. Until I say my final bye-bye to AOL (when I finish copying off my old journal entries and get hooked up to my DSL line.)
Beautiful!
