You know how much I love you...but...I am not so sure that I like the outcome. But, then again I am not surprised considering the Bush years. I am sorry his Grandma missed this and I wish him and our nation a better time as we heal and move forward! Hugs, Lisa
I think that we may have, finally, gotten it right. I look forward to this administration and remind those folks who aren't so sure ... it's only four years ... and we get to do this all over again.
What I find completely exciting is that my daughter, voting at her second presidential election has seen her hard work pay off.
She has been actively registering students to vote as well as campaigning for Obama all through the semester and she has now seen that 'it' works!
And best of all? She's been involve, if only in small part, in making history in our country. This is an experience that she will carry with her through her entire voting adulthood.

Well I LOVE this outcome. It's the outcome I've been hoping for. I could go on and on, but I'm pinching myself to make sure it's real...

Makes me grin from ear to ear.
I am excited about the history being made...you may remember that I have a special place in my heart for people of color.
